Learning Support Assistant -

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and effective Learning Support Assistant, with lunch cover as a Midday Assistant. The successful candidate will become part of our friendly and hard-working team which is dedicated to ensuring our children learn well and are well cared for. Experience of early years provision and early reading teaching (phonics) is desirable but not essential. The working hours are 8:30-13:15 Monday to Friday.

You will need to:

- be educated to GCSE A-C or above in English and Maths, preferably with NVQ2 or equivalent in an area relevant to this post;

- have child centred support experience;

- be a flexible, organised and enthusiastic team player;

- have an ability to show initiative and work independently;

- have previous experience in an educational setting;

- be committed to supporting the children in their learning.

- appropriate training as required.

The post is for term time plus non-pupil days.
