Post: SEN Teaching Assistant
Hours: 26.25 hours per week
Term Time plus inset days (39 weeks per annum)
Contract: Fixed contract - end date 31/08/2028
Salary: Scale 3, Point 5-6 £14,293.28-£14,532.31 per annum (full time equivalent salary £23,500-£23,893)
Start date: Autumn Term - September

An opportunity has arisen to join our wonderful school community as a SEN Teaching Assistant from September.
This contract is for a fixed term to assist in the provision of support for three pupils with SEN for the duration of funds allocated specifically for this purpose.In the event of the allocation of funds ceasing or the child leaving the school before the final date above, your appointment will cease with statutory notice.
The successful candidate must:

· Good literacy and numeracy skills.
· Good organisational skills.
· Ability to build effective working relationships with pupils and adults.
· Skills and expertise in understanding the needs of all pupils.
· Knowledge of how to help adapt and deliver support to meet individual needs
· Excellent verbal communication skills
· Active listening skills
· Knowledge of guidance and requirements around safeguarding children and a commitment to ongoing training in this area
· Good ICT skills, particularly using ICT to support learning
This is a fixed position, term time only, including non-pupil days. This vacancy is for 26.25 hours per week and has the following working pattern. Some movement in these hours may be considered.
Monday - Friday08:30-13:45 5.25 hours a day
