Early Years Practitioner Level 3

We are seeking a Level 3 Qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly and experienced team.

About the role:

· Have a sound understanding of the EYFS framework, and be able to implement this within the setting

· Have the ability to promote a secure, safe and happy environment

· Provide outstanding care and education

· Provide stimulating activities and experiences

· Show a strong knowledge of how to effectively monitor children's development

· Be passionate, inspiring and work effectively within a team

· Minimum Level 3 childcare and education qualifications or equivalent is essential

· Be able to communicate well at all levels

· Hours - 8.30am - 3:15pm

· Hourly rate - £11.60 - £13.20 depending on experience

We are looking for an additional member of staff who can work alongside the existing team to continue to develop the exploratory learning development of all our children in a child led, fun way following the Montessori approach. We welcome practitioners who value the importance of teamwork, can offer a warm smile to make every child feel special, but above all, take pride in being part of children's learning journeys.

The successful applicant will be qualified to level 3 or above, have a good understanding of the EYFS curriculum and be passionate about working with young children. They will ensure that the individual needs of the children are identified and met and strive to build positive relationships with the children, staff and parents/carers.

Applicants will also be offered the opportunity to learn new skills and work towards continuing professional development.

The pre-school is open for 38 weeks of the year (term time only), however, applicants will be paid monthly over the course of the whole year. Holiday pay will also be paid and this will be in addition to the rate of pay featured above.
