LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT
LGS Scale 3 pts 5-6 + London Fringe Allowance (pro rata)
26.67 hours per week - Mon - Fri 8:45am-3pm, Term-time only (actual starting salary - £14,545)
Are you passionate about helping children reach their full potential? Our school is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic learning support assistant to join our team.
As a learning support assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support students in their learning and development. The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in working with children, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. There is also a requirement to work with students offsite at an alternative provision. Experience in a school setting is preferred but not essential but a willingness to learn is essential as well as having good numeracy and literacy skills. GCSE grade A-C (or equivalent) in English and Maths is required however, if not already gained a commitment to work towards a GCSE whilst in post would be acceptable.
