We are seeking a highly professional, conscientious, and committed individual who wants to play a key role in ensuring learner safeguarding needs are met and responded to appropriately. This role is 37 hours per week, 40 weeks per year.
Working with the Designated Safeguarding Leads and within the Safeguarding Team, the successful applicant will promote the safeguarding and welfare of all learners, including apprentices, while ensuring that all college and statutory procedures are always followed, in relation to any safeguarding concerns.
The post holder will also contribute towards training and development needs of college staff and support key topics within the Life Skills and Enrichment Curriculum.
Experience of providing advice and guidance on safeguarding issues and supporting young adults is essential, with exceptional organisational and interpersonal skills.
