Catering Manager - Vacancy
We are pleased to invite applications for our post of Catering Manager.
An exciting opportunity has arisen at our school and we are seeking to appoint a Catering Manager.
The successful applicant will work and manage the school kitchen at St Osyth Church of England Primary School, working with the Assistant Cook and Catering Assistant.
The successful candidate will:
· have experience of working and leading in a kitchen environment
· be trained to Level 3 Food Safety or will be willing to complete training
· display a professional attitude
· remain calm under pressure
· have a sense of humour
· be committed to supporting the values and ethos of our Church school.
Salary
26.25 hours a week, term time. Permanent Position.
Scale 5, points 9-12.
Full Time Equivalent £25,119 to £26,421
Pro Rata - for 26.25 hours a week 39 weeks per annum (term time plus insert days), Monday to Friday 9am-2:15pm - £15,278.00 to £16,069.91
Recruitment dates
1. Applications to be submitted no later than Midnight Monday 26th August 2024.
2. Shortlisting week commencing 26th August 2024.
3. Interviews will take place - 2nd September 2024.
4. To start on the 30th September 2024, depending on successful candidates availability and pre-employment checks.

Ours is a rural location just twenty minutes from Colchester and ten minutes from Clacton. We are an academy with the Vine Schools Trust and so have the support of the trust and of the diocese.
