We have a fantastic opportunity for a deputy manager to join our team, at Cherry Pips Day Nursery, Rochford, Essex. We offer you a bright, stimulating purpose-built nursery. Rated Good by Ofsted in November 2023.

We are looking for a highly motivated, room-based deputy manager who will offer our children high quality inclusive early years education and care.

We take great pride in being a friendly, inclusive setting that put children and their families at the heart of our practice

Essentials:

Minimum:

Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification.

Full and relevant DBS

Level 3 Safeguarding

2 years recent Senior position experience

Full and relevant level 3 paediatric certificate.

Requirements:

As deputy manager you will:

Work with the manager and deputise as required, being confident to manage the day to day running of the nursery to the high standards that Cherry Pips delivers.

The successful candidate must have a minimum of2 yearsSenior Early Years Practitioner experience.

Ø Excellent working knowledge of the EYFS and current Ofsted statutory guidance.

Ø Support the nursery management team to deliver high-quality care and education in line with the setting's policies and procedures.

Ø Be able to lead a team of highly dedicated and qualified early years practitioners.

Ø An extensive understanding of all areas of safeguarding.

Ø A sound knowledge of safer recruitment.

Ø Be a proactive member of the team, providing a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment.

Ø To work as part of a team to ensure all children reach their full potential.
