Job Description

Little Fishes Pre-School looking to recruit an energetic and qualified individual as Supervisor of our Ofsted Good Pre-School. The pre-school owned and is within the building of St Mary's Church, in Churchgate Street, Old Harlow.

Applicants should be at least Level 3 Early Years Qualified and ideally have experience in a supervisory capacity.

Responsible for managing the staff and activities of the pre-school, applicants must have significant experience in the Early Years sector and be well versed in the regulatory environment and safeguarding of young children.

Reporting to the Chairperson of the Working Group, the jobholder is involved in ALL aspects of the running of a vital community facility and needs to be able to liaise efficiently with parents/carers and other external service providers.

The position will be open from January 2025, when the current Supervisor is retiring, but an earlier start date can be considered if this will aid a smooth transition.

This position is for term time only.

Information about the School

Little Fishes Pre-School provides a safe play and learning environment for all children (irrespective of gender, race or religion) within the context of a caring Christian Community. We are registered to provide 15 hours care for 26 children between the ages of 2-5. The Pre-School is run by St Mary's Church.

All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of children and young people. All positions will involve appropriate checks and clearances.
