We have an exciting opportunity for an innovative Manager to lead our Gateway to Further Education and Employment courses. You will be an enthusiastic leader who will join a team of managers within our Inspire Department, which focuses on a curriculum designed to support vulnerable and disadvantaged young people and our learners with SEND.

You will manage the onsite staff and off-site staff of curriculum designed to re-engage young people and support progression into Further Education or employment.

You will be responsible for a committed, enthusiastic team focussed on teaching and developing the behaviours, confidence and engagement of young people onto employability and progression courses. You will work with the Inspire Management team and the Assistant Principal Curriculum to provide positive operational leadership by creating a dynamic, supportive and innovative environment that drives the curriculum area forward and considers growth, including management of identified staff. You will have previous experience of inclusive practice, working with learners with SEND and who may have been out of education or vulnerable young people, and be able to support with personalised intervention strategies that meet the needs of learners.

You will be able to manage people, budgets, and curriculum and have effective communication to work with parents, outside agencies and other stakeholders to ensure that our learners have the best opportunities and support available to succeed on their courses. You will need to analyse programme data, develop metrics to measure programme effectiveness and report this to senior managers.
