Midday Assistant

Pay Band - Scale 2 Points 3-4 (£22,737-23,114 FTE salary*)

Actual Salary £2,569.31-£2,645.30*

*Pending Pay Award

An opportunity has arisen for a Midday Assistant to join our team and oversee the supervision of students during lunchtime at St Francis Catholic Primary School in Maldon, CM9 6HN.

The position is for 5 hours per week between 12:15pm-1:15pm, term time only.

The successful candidate will work within a small team under the direction of the Midday Supervisor and will need to be a reliable and flexible team player able to contribute to the calm and efficient running of the school at lunchtime. Your primary role will be to maintain the safety, welfare and good conduct of the pupils and In collaboration with other midday colleagues, creatively manage and implement interesting and stimulating activities to ensure children have an enjoyable lunchbreak.

Successful applicants will have the following:

Experience of working with children
Knowledge of First Aid and basic record keeping
Ability to work as part of a team
Strategies for promoting positive behaviour and social skills
