Site Manager

25 hours per week - additional hours can be offered for the right candidate

52.14 weeks a year - permanent

Hours: 7.45am - 1.15pm (includes a 30-minute break)

Pay scale: Scale 5 point 9-12 (you will also receive fringe allowance)

We are looking for a dedicated, hardworking and reliable site manager to join our school team to ensure the safe operation, statutory compliance and general maintenance of the school.

The successful candidate will be a keen problem solver who is flexible and takes pride in working to a high standard. They will have a good understanding of general maintenance and a range of practical trade or DIY skills applicable to the role (such as plumbing, decorating, carpentry or gardening) with a willingness to learn others to ensure a high standard of site maintenance and repair work.

Typical duties may include: opening the building, supervising contractors, ensuring the premises is safe and secure (including any alarm call outs), site maintenance/repairs, ensuring the school remains compliant with statutory requirements and some cleaning/grounds duties. You will also work alongside a cleaning agency and will be responsible for checking that standards are being met.

Previous experience in this role is desirable but not essential. We are willing to discuss alternate working patterns and an increase in hours for the right candidate.
