An exciting opportunity to join a well-established, knowledgeable, multidisciplinary therapy team working within a special school.
The Edith Borthwick School is a large special school which caters for learners aged 3-19 with severe learning disabilties (SLD), profound learning disabilities (PMLD) and autism. We aim to deliver functional and integrated therapy across the school working closely with teaching and support staff.
We are seeking an enthusiastic Speech and LanguageTherapistto join our team, this position is open to Newly Qualified Practioners. You must have a degree in Speech and Language Therapy and liciense to Practice. You must also be a regisitered member of the HCPC and RCSLT.
The successful candidate will work closely with teachers, support staff and learners to provide Speech and Language Therapy. You will contribute to the ongoing service development and uphold the school's reputation for quality, evidence-based practice to all learners.
This is a fanastic opportunity to you to continue your professional development. You will have regular clinical supervison and support to complete your competencies, whilst working in a friendly and supportive working environment.
This role is term time only. Hours can be flexible but ideally 5 days a week - 37 hours a week.
