Lincewood Primary School is looking to appoint a friendly, self-motivated and enthusiastic Admin Lead with Finance and Personnel duties to provide an effective and efficient school office service and support to the school.
Pay Range: Local Government Pay Scale 6, Point 13-17
This post is 37 hours per week, 5 days a week
Hours 8:30am to 4:30pm, includes a 30 minute lunch break
Term time only plus 5 non-pupil days
Actual Salary from: £23,312 - £24,916 (Scale 6, Point 13-17)
(example annual pay with over 5 years service)
Start Date: 4th November 2024
Some of your responsibilities will include:
To organise the day to day work of administrative staff in the main office to provide an effective and efficient service to staff, parents, visitors and telephone callers
To assist the School Business Manager to accurately maintain the school's financial accounting system (FMS in respect of routine transactions) and administer Personnel documentation as directed by the School Business Manager
To ensure that all procedures relating to routine transactions are carried out in accordance with the school's financial regulations, good practice and relevant statutory legislation.
This post will support the Headteacher and senior staff in all matters relating to attendance
We are looking for you if you have:
· Have the skills to manage a very busy office, prioritising and managing workload
· Contribute to the smooth running of the school by organising effective administration, financial and clerical systems
· Experience of SIMS and FMS, the schools management systems
· Experience of administrative work in a busy school office environment
· Experience working with and be proficient in Microsoft Office packages
· Excellent professional and friendly inter-personal skills
· Be an effective communicator with pupils, staff and parents
· Educated at GCSE, or equivalent, in English and Maths
· Knowledge of general school policies and procedures
· Understand and implement the school's behaviour management policy
· Good organisational skills
· Understand and implement safeguarding procedures
· Good sense of humour
