PART TIME CARETAKER
Required -Immediately
Local Government Scale 4 Points 7-8 (£24,294-£24,702 FTE - Pay Rise Pending)
Actual Salary £14,820-£15,056
25 hours per week / 39 weeks per year (1 week to be worked across the school holidays)
Working Hours: 7.30am-12.30pm
An opportunity has arisen for the position of School Caretaker at St Francis Catholic Primary School in Maldon, CM9 6HN.
The successful candidate will work within a small team under the direction of the School Business Manager in all aspects of caretaking and site maintenance duties. They will need to be enthusiastic, friendly, highly motivated and flexible with general building maintenance, carpentry, and caretaking skills. The role will also entail consultation with various stakeholders including contractors and tradesmen. Previous experience of basic health & safety is essential. Duties will include general cleaning, dealing with spillages, blockages, locking and unlocking the sites and any ad-hoc duties as required. Full driving licence and use of own car is essential as you may be required to attend the school site outside of normal hours. Previous experience of basic health & safety is essential.
