Do you want to earn some additional income or thinking about getting into teaching?

Harlow College is currently looking for dynamic and inspirational individuals to support adult learners with the development of specific vocational skills and knowledge to enable them to gain new expertise and progress their careers.

We are looking for industry experts or experienced teachers/trainers to deliver daytime classes to adult learners covering the following vocational areas:

· Employability

· Award in Progression

· Mental Health

· Independent Living

· Award in progression

Ideally the successful candidate would be local to Norfolk.

Courses will be delivered over 5 or 10 days (dependent on the course) and between 9am - 5pm, Monday - Friday.

The Employability, Innovation and Skills Academy deliver a wide range of part time courses that are aimed at helping adults gain the knowledge and skills to retrain or progress further in their career. We work closely with local employers and other partners to run courses that are tailored to the current labour market. These can range from development of core skills specifically related to the vocational sector the qualification sits in as well as the practical skills required to work within the industry.

These courses are delivered via face-to-face classroom teaching as well as virtually in an online classroom. The successful candidate will be required to have a flexible approach to working, as courses will be delivered during January - July 2025 in Norfolk.
