Catering Assistant - West Horndon Primary School,
Start: 18th November 2024 or as soon as possible thereafter
12.5hrs per week Scale 2, Point 3-4 Gross Actual Annual Salary £6784.89 inc Fringe (44.7 paid weeks per year)
Term time + Inset days (39 weeks per year) Hours of work will be Monday-Friday 11.30am to 2.00pm
We are looking to appoint a caring and professional Catering Assistant to join our friendly catering team.
Working alongside the Catering Manager, your role will include:
·Serving meals to pupils
·Preparing food as required
·Setting up/clearing away and cleaning tables
·Cleaning plates, cutlery & equipment
·Deputising for the Catering Manager if necessary
The successful candidate will:
·Be a team player with a positive attitude.
·Encourage and support children to enjoy healthy food.
·Have a commitment to high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
·Have experience in food preparation and cleaning.
·Enjoy working in a busy environment.
·Experience of working in a school kitchen would be desirable but is not essential.
