About the role:
The core purpose of this role is to provide admin support for safeguarding through managing My Concern and being responsible for maintaining safeguarding records, case studies and minutes and admin support for the pastoral team.
You will be supporting the management of Alternative Education arrangements under the direction of the DSL, and pastoral admin under the direction of the Deputy Headteacher, whilst working with other staff to support engagement, attendance, behaviour, transition and progression in order to maintain the safe and strong community culture that we have at The Ongar Academy.
The role includes completing referrals of support for our students with internal and external agencies and holding delegated responsibilities on behalf of the Designated Safeguarding Lead including but not limited to the attendance at meetings and the recording and follow up actions to those meetings.
Work Schedule:
37 hours per week, 8am - 4pm Monday - Thursday, 8am - 3:30pm Friday
Term time plus 10 days
