Administration Assistant - Safeguarding
Required: As soon as possible
25 hour per week
Monday - Friday 9.15am - 2.45pm
(inclusive of 30 min break)

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who enjoys working with young people to join our already established Safeguarding team. You will be a point of contact and support for the designated safeguarding leaders and those involved in safeguarding around the school.
This role includes the undertaking of various administration duties including the organising, management and upkeep of records and student files, collection of information relating to reported incidents, producing and distributing documentation for meetings, communicating with parents, staff, students and external agencies, attending meetings to take minutes, producing data, tracking and monitoring staff training and an excellent attention to detail.
The successful candidate will need to understand the importance and significance of safeguarding and confidentiality. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as a positive approach to working independently and as part of a team. You will need to have a proven track record of excellent ICT and administration skills.
Here at Castledon School we pride ourselves on our excellent high standards and performance. Whilst experience within an education setting would be useful, it is not essential as full training will be provided. The successful candidate will be required to have a good understanding of safeguarding and the referrals process.

Information about the School
Castledon School is a Special School for pupils with Moderate Learning Difficulties and additional complex needs from Year 1 - Year 14.
