Are you a caring and patient person who loves to work with children? Are you seeking a part-time opportunity that keeps your mornings and afternoons free? We are now accepting applications for the role of Lunchtime Supervisor.
Our successful candidate will join our team on a permanent basis, working 10 hours per week (2 hours per day) during Term Time.
Working Hours: 11:30 - 13:30
Salary: Scale 3 Point 5 (£12.85 per hour)
Start date: TBA - Subject to successful pre-employment checks
This role is suitable for those who genuinely have a passion for helping children and promoting staff collaboration to make lunchtimes as positive as possible for our young learners.
What will the role involve?
· Managing the deployment of lunchtime staff to ensure children are supported both in the hall and outside
· Deploying staff to lead key activities that keep children active and engaged during the lunch hour
· Improving and developing the lunch hour for children
· Supporting the wider lunchtime team throughout their duties
· Ensure pupils eating meals are seated in an orderly fashion to maintain safety and wellbeing of the pupils.
· Engaging in play activities with the children and modelling our high expectations of behaviour
· Oversee the set-up and clean down procedures of the dining hall each day
Our ideal candidate will:
· Have experience of working with children
· Enjoy working creatively to continually improve lunchtimes
· Work well with others as part of a team
· Be adaptable and able to use their own initiative
· Enjoy interacting with children
· Be able to lead a team of midday assistants to ensure efficient, positive lunchtimes
