Highfields is an outstanding school looking for inspiring new leadership following the retirement of our current long-serving headteacher. We are a popular 45 pupil intake primary school situated in modern buildings on a green site in Lawford, Manningtree.  Manningtree is a growing and thriving town close to the Essex/Suffolk border, giving excellent access to Colchester and Ipswich, with inter-city trains to London and Norwich.

  • An approachable and visible leader who can build positive relationships and communicate effectively with staff, pupils and parents
  • A passionate, experienced and ambitious educator with a passion for fostering an inclusive, positive and fulfilling school culture and workplace 
  • Effective management experience, with the ability to empower, motivate and develop a team of dedicated and talented staff 
  • A passion for delivering a rich and diverse curriculum through high quality teaching so that all our children can reach their full potential
