Office Admin Assistant with HR responsibilities
37 hours per week (Preferred hours Monday to Friday 7.00am - 3.00pm, with a 30 minute lunch break and a 2.30pm finish on 1 day).
5 days a week is a requirement but flexibility with hours may be possible for the right candidate.
41 weeks per year (Term time plus 2 weeks holiday working)
Scale 4: Points 7- 8
Actual Starting salary: £23,012.84

We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and diligent individual to join our friendly, experienced and busy school office team and to help support the HR manager.
The ideal candidate will have a sense of humour, be able to communicate effectively, and maintain a calm and professional manner, under pressure. You will be methodical as well as flexible. You will have excellent IT skills, including database experience, ideally in SIMS and excel. You will be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Duties may include but not limited to:
- Updating the school's MIS system and HR systems
- Assisting with recording staff absences, pre-employment checks
- Inputting new staff contracts onto our payroll system
- Assisting with return-to-work meetings
- Analysing data and producing reports for the Head Teacher and Governors
- Supporting the finance department with orders/deliveries/invoices
- Supporting our Senior Leadership Group with Admin tasks
- Recording pupil absences
- Updating school policies
- Telephone and reception duties
