HARWICH AND DOVERCOURT HIGH SCHOOL

SPORTS COORDINATOR

Pay Range: Local Government Scale 7

Actual Salary from: £3,502 - £3,868 (Points 19-24)

This post is: 5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year (Term Time only)

Start Date: ASAP

The Role

We are seeking an outstanding individual to supervise students during lunchtime and after school in sports activities and fixtures.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Act as a role model and set high expectations of conduct and behaviour
  • Promote the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils within the activity area
  • Promote positive values, attitudes and good pupil behaviour, dealing promptly with conflict and incidents in line with established policy and encourage pupils to take responsibility for their own behaviour

We're looking for you if you have:

  • Have experience in and be confidence to assist in the delivery of various sports
  • Successful recent experience working with children in a school/early years environment
  • Good working knowledge of ICT to support learning
