Required for April 2025
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic KS1 teacher to join a highly motivated team in an outstanding school (Ofsted, April 2023). We are seeking a dynamic teacher with high expectations and a happy disposition. You will need to have a strong track record of (at least) good teaching and excellent pupil progress rates.
We are looking to appoint a teacher who is:
· a confident practitioner able to inspire and lead successful learning;
· able to bring learning to life through a creative practical curriculum;

We set high standards for the quality of teaching and will support you to become an outstanding teacher through the provision of outstanding professional development. As part of Catalyst Academies Trust, a high performing local MAT of five primary schools, you will benefit from support and shared planning. This will also provide the right candidate with opportunities for career development, including outreach work and ITT support work.
A £1,000 Catalyst welcome payment for successful candidates (teachers paid on Main Scale only) if you are appointed through a direct application to a Catalyst school (i.e. avoiding agency costs). This payment is allocated 6 months after you have been in post.
You will also be added to our "Catalyst Employee Perks" platform where you will be able to access a range of discounts from regular supermarkets, numerous retailers, family days out, restaurants and more.
Visits to the school are both positively encouraged and warmly welcomed. Also, you are very welcome to have an informal, confidential discussion with Rhys Latham, our Headteacher about this vacancy. Please contact the school on 01708 852128 or email bursar.da@catrust.org.uk to arrange these. Application packs are available on our school website, www.dilkesacademy.org.uk in About us/Vacancies section. Application forms should be sent direct to the school to bursar.da@catrust.org.uk or you can apply via www.essexschoolsjobs.co.uk.
All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of children and young people. All positions will involve appropriate checks and clearances.
