Midday assistant (MDA) - 5 hours 50 minutes per week for 38 weeks.
Hours: Monday to Friday 11.50am-1pm
Pay scale: 2 salary point 3 FTE - £24,027 = FTE outer fringe £706.00.
Actual salary £3251.34 per annum (pay award pending)
We are looking for reliable, caring and enthusiastic MDAs to join our friendly team and amazing children.
The successful candidate will:
· Be friendly and approachable
· Be an effective communicator
· Be flexible
· Work collaboratively with the MDA team and senior MDAs
· Enjoy working with children
Typical duties may include:
· Preparing and clearing the lunch hall
· Encouraging good dining room practices
· Provide playground supervision and support
· Provide necessary minor and emergency first aid
· Encouraging group games and play activities
· Ensure the safety and wellbeing of children
Experience in the role is desirable but not essential. If you think you would make an excellent MDA and have the relevant skills, we would encourage you to apply for this post.
