Brentwood School is seeking to appoint a Receptionist to ensure the smooth running of our busy Senior School Reception. As the first point of contact for visitors and telephone callers, you will play a key role in representing the school with professionalism and warmth. This position requires you to manage the school's telephone switchboard, perform general reception duties, and provide administrative support to the Admin Team. The working hours are 9am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, during term time plus three additional weeks in the school holidays and three Saturdays per year.
The successful candidate will possess excellent verbal communication and time management skills, with a strong proficiency in Microsoft Office. You must demonstrate the ability to handle confidential information with sensitivity and discretion, as well as the capacity to multi-task and remain composed in a fast-paced environment. A tactful and friendly demeanor is essential for engaging with visitors and callers alike, along with a proactive and team-oriented approach to problem-solving.
