Breakfast Club Assistant
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday: 4.5 hours per week: 7.30am -9.00am
Term time only (38 weeks per year)
Pay Band - Scale 2, Point 3 to 4
Required from January 2025
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated BreakfastClub Assistant to join our friendly and hardworking team.
St Peter's Church of England Primary School is a vibrant school with a friendly and supportive staff and fantastic children. Responsibilities include:
- Delivering quality play opportunities within a safe and caring environment.
- Providing comprehensive care for the children.
- Providing refreshments and ensuring that hygiene, health and safety standards are met.
- Administering first aid when necessary.
- Consulting with children and involving them in planning activities.
- Undertaking appropriate and relevant training.
- Keeping the work environment healthy, safe and secure.
- Working within the framework of the club's policies and procedures.
The successful applicant should preferably have:
- A calm and kind manner.
- An ability to be organised and work under pressure.
- Experience of working in a school or with children.
- An ability to follow instructions as well as to work on their own initiative.
- Good literacy and numeracy skills.
- A commitment to meeting the needs of all pupils.
We will consider part-time or jobshare.
Funded childcare places in Breakfast Club may be available for applicants with children at the school. Please ask for further information.
