Are you an inspiring teacher with the skills, confidence and energy to make a positive impact on the lives of our students?
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Science teacher to head up our Science Department, ideally with a Physics specialism. Applications are welcome from both experienced Heads of Department and teachers aspiring for middle leadership. You must be able to detail evidence of resilience, dynamism and the capacity to be an outstanding middle leader.
You will be responsible for enthusing students about Science as well as ensuring excellent outcomes for all groups of students to make at least good progress. You will be able to ensure that all groups of students at all key stages are appropriately challenged and supported to achieve their very best. You will be committed to maintaining and improving our high-quality provision.
St Bernard's High School is a vibrant Catholic girl's school from Years 7-11 with a co-educational mixed Sixth Form. Our school is ranked one of the top schools in Southend, and we are in the top 20% of schools across the country for our progress with students and our outcomes.
