Job title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant
Pay Range: £27,412 - £28,779 (Point 9 - 12) This is the full-time equivalent pay. Actual pay £20,598 - £21,625. This includes fringe allowance.
Position Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Part-time (5 days a week, term time plus non-pupil days)
Contract Term: Temporary with a view to permanent from September 2025
Hours a week: 32 hours per week

We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and inspirational HLTA who will share our Christian vision that our children will nurture and grow to pursue excellence in all areas. Moreton C of E Primary School is a good school, located in the heart of rural Essex. This is an exciting opportunity to join us and become part of our strong community.
We are looking for a HLTA who:
- is enthusiastic and dedicated in engaging children in their learning
- has a passion for delivering lessons in creative and imaginative ways
- is confident to cover classes as required
- is prepared to deliver a particular foundation subject across the school such as music or languages (subject to be agreed depending on candidate's experience)
- has high expectations of achievement and behaviour for all pupils
- is committed to the Christian ethos of the school
