Cluster Finance & HR Manager @EPPING FOREST SCHOOLS PARTNERSHIP TRUST
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Cluster Finance & HR Manager to provide finance and HR support for 5 schools in the Trust; Lambourne Primary, Epping Upland Primary, Ivy Chimneys Primary, Alderton Infant & Junior Schools. You will be the manager of a team of three ensuring that the schools and the central team have the information they need.
Salary: Scale 8 (£26,604 - £28,589 Actual) Hours: 30hrs per week term time plus 2 weeks (41 weeks)
Working hours can be flexible
This is a great opportunity for an individual with a strong background in Finance to work with the central team and the headteachers to provide financial and HR support for the schools. The job description lists all the requirements of the job but includes the following:
- Advising the Headteachers on general financial policy and planning
- Coordination of annual budget of income and expenditure for the academies
- Monitoring the annual budget and presenting management reports to the Headteacher/CFO and LGC, attending relevant meetings as requested and working in collaboration with the Central Team
- Preparation, of long-term assessments of the future financial performance of the academy
- Preparation of financial appraisals for projects, as required and working in collaboration with the Central Team
- Working with the schools and the Central HR team on recruitment, absence and payroll.
- Maintaining the Single Central Record
The successful candidate should be/have
- Experience in financial management and budgeting
- Experience in HR administration& Recruitment experience.
- Working knowledge of appropriate academy's financial policies and procedures
- Someone with a flexible attitude
- Professional and reliable
- Willing to work collaboratively with others and work autonomously
- Ability to complete complex returns, write complex letters and reports
- Understanding and compliant with the procedures and legislation relating to confidentiality
