We're seeking a dynamic Team Leader to join our English, Maths, and ESOL department. Reporting to the English and Maths Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality teaching, improving learner outcomes, and driving innovation across our programmes.

About the Role

As a Team Leader, you will:

Support the English and Maths Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of English, Maths, and ESOL programmes.
Lead and support a team of dedicated teaching staff, ensuring outstanding teaching and learning practices.
Monitor performance data and implement strategies to meet departmental aims and quality improvement plans.
Drive curriculum innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Foster a culture that recognises and values the importance of strong literacy and numeracy skills.
About You

We're looking for someone with:

Substantial teaching experience in English, Maths, or ESOL within further education providers.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed) and a subject-specific qualification at Level 5 or above.
Strong knowledge of quality assurance processes and performance improvement strategies.
Excellent interpersonal skills, a proactive mindset, and a passion for improving outcomes for learners.

Starting salary will be dependent on qualifications, skills and experience.
