Position: Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Location: Manuden Primary School
Hours: 08:45-12:30, 5 days a week (includes ½ hour lunchtime cover), term-time only
Start Date: Tuesday 22nd April 2025
Salary: Essex Schools Pay Scale 3 Pt 5-6 (depending on experience)
Manuden Primary School is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play an important role in supporting the learning and development of our pupils in a friendly and inclusive environment.
About the Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Working closely with teachers to support pupils in the classroom.
- Providing one-to-one and small group support to help pupils achieve their full potential.
- Assisting with the preparation of learning materials and maintaining a positive classroom environment.
- Supporting pupils to develop independence, confidence, and social skills.
- Promote our Restorative Practice approach to behaviour management.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a genuine passion for helping children to succeed.
- Is patient, adaptable, and approachable.
- Can work well as part of a team and independently when required.
- Has experience of working with children in a school setting.
- Shares our school values and ethos.
