Midday Assistant
GLC Academy: Gateway Primary Free School
Salary: GLC Point 10 £23,966 [Actual Pro Rata Salary £4,166]
Working Pattern: 7.5 hours per week, Term Time Only
Contract: Permanent
Start Date: ASAP
Closing Date: 3 February 2025 at Midday
The Gateway Primary Free School is part of the Gateway Learning Community [GLC] which is a partnership of one secondary academy and four primary academies located within Tilbury and Chadwell St Mary in the borough of Thurrock, to the east of London. We are seeking to appoint a lunchtime assistant as part of our midday team to effectively supervise pupils during the lunch period, providing a continuous presence to ensure the safety, welfare and conduct of pupils in accordance with school policy.
We are looking for someone:
To be responsible for promoting positive play experiences and opportunities for children during the lunchtime break
To encourage, support and foster positive relationships between children by providing positive and active play experiences and opportunities
To administer first aid (A first aid certificate is desirable, but training can be provided)
