Scale 3 Point 5 - 6 : Starting salary £16,072 (actual per annum)
Hours of work: 28.75 hours per week / 38 weeks per annum (term time)
Elmstead Primary School are looking for two dedicated, enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistants to support our pupils and join our friendly team.
The fixed term role has become available due to external funding which has been granted to the school specifically for pupils with additional learning needs.
Both posts will require part of your working week to be to work on a one-to-one basis with a dedicated pupil and part will be group work within the classroom.
The ideal candidates will:
· be able to support the children in the class by following the direction of the class teacher
· liaise with the class teacher and SENCO and help keep detailed records of the children's achievements
· use their own initiative to support children in making the best possible progress
· have the ability to work as part of a team, including outside professionals
· be highly positive and supportive
· be able to remain calm and flexible, be caring, have patience, and have a sense of humour
