HR Officer

Scale 5 points 9-12

37 hours per week, 52 weeks a year

Salary £26409 - £27711 pa

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a HR Officer to join our central services HR team. This role, although office based at the trust central offices, will require an ability and willingness to travel to trust schools located within Essex, to provide HR support. This is not a hybrid or remote role. We believe in fostering a collaborative and engaging work environment and we look forward to welcoming you to our team in person.

This role, overseen by the Trust Operations Manager, will provide an essential link between our schools and central HR team.

What we are looking for:

Experience of working in a HR role, ideally within the education sector
Knowledge of general HR policies, procedures and employment law
Excellent communication skills, which includes the ability to exchange complex written and verbal information clearly and sensitively.
The ability to prioritise your workload while maintaining accuracy and meeting key deadlines
Ability to travel across all schools within the trust.

Information about the School

The Chelmsford Learning Partnership (CLP) is an emerging multi-academy trust based in Springfield, Chelmsford. The trust was formerly known as The Boswells Academy Trust but changed name in late 2017 to reflect the growth of the trust beyond one school. There are currently 8 schools across Essex in the CLP multi academy trust.

The schools in the CLP are: Barnes Farm Primary School, Lakelands Primary School, Perryfields Infant School, Roding Valley High School, The Beaulieu Park School, The Boswells School, The Tyrrells Primary School and William de Ferrers School.
