St Nicholas C of E Primary School has an exciting opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant to join the team as soon as possible.
The hours are 8:45am to 3:15pm Monday to Friday (including a 1hr lunch / 15 min break). 26.25 hours per week, term time only for 38 weeks per year.
Salary Scale 3 to Scale 4 (Range 5-8) Actual Salary: £14,706 to £15,177 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience, (includes paid annual leave which must be taken during school closure periods).

We are looking for someone who has:
· a love of learning and has flexibility, energy and enthusiasm
· an approachable confident manner with the ability to relate and deal with enquiries from both adults and students
· GCSE English and Maths at grades A-C or an equivalent qualification
· preferably the successful candidate will also be NVQ Level 3 qualified (pay Scale 4) and have experience working with pupils with various needs
· patience with children and be dedicated to meeting the needs of all pupils in their care
· good organisational, time management and communication skills
· experience of working in a school preferred but not essential
· the ability to show initiative as well as work as part of a team
· a commitment to promoting the church school ethos and supporting both schools in the Federation of Canewdon and St. Nicholas C of E Primary Schools
