Join Our Team at Great Leighs Primary School!
We're looking for a reliable, caring, and enthusiastic Midday Assistant to help create a positive, happy, and safe environment for our children during lunchtime. If you enjoy interacting with children and are passionate about their well-being, we'd love to hear from you!
About the Role:
Hours: 11:55 am to 1:10 pm, Monday to Friday, term time only.
Additional Opportunities: Option to cover absences on other days when needed.
Training: Attendance at Safeguarding Training on the first inset day in September is required.
We are ideally seeking someone who can work Monday to Friday, but we're happy to consider a job share (2 or 3 days per week)-so if full-time doesn't suit you, please still apply!
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the safety, welfare, and good conduct of pupils during lunch breaks.
Help create a positive, secure environment in the playgrounds, dining hall, and school building.
Administer basic first aid as needed.
