Job Title: Attendance & Admissions Administrator - Kents Hill Infants Academy
Contract: Permanent
Hours per week: 13 hours 15 minutes per week (38 weeks - Term time only)
Scale: 4 Point 7-8 (Depending on experience)
Actual Salary: £7,643.65 to £7,767.04 (Depending on experience)

As an Attendance and Admissions Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient administration of our attendance and admissions including providing clerical and welfare support to the Academy. Your responsibilities will encompass various administrative tasks, communication with staff, parents and external organisations whilst maintaining a safe environment for all.
You will be required to work 13 hours 15 minutes per week; Monday, Tuesday & Friday 8:50am - 1:15pm.
We would be delighted to hear from you if you have:
· Proven experience in office administration, preferably in an educational setting.
· Experience of School Admissions or School attendance is desirable
· Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Knowledge of first aid procedures and willingness to maintain or gain certifications.
· Proficiency in relevant software applications for finance and office management (E.g. ParentMail, Excel, Provider Portal, Arbor)
· Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and engage positively with families.
· The ability to overcome communication barriers and build rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
· An understanding of the importance of social and emotional well-being and a commitment to nurturing a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
· Effective organisational and interpersonal skills,enabling you to manage tasks efficiently and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
· The ability to work independently and take initiative,taking pride in your work and consistently seeking opportunities to contribute to the team's success.
· The ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain composure in challenging situations.
