Academy Finance & Operations Manager
Scale 8-9, NJC25-33 depending on experience (FTE £35,235 - £42,708)
Full time 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
Great Berry Primary School are looking to recruit an experienced finance professional, to work closely with the Head Teacher, Governors, other senior staff and agencies. The role will be responsible for all aspects of financial management.
The successful applicant will have:
• Experience of financial management and budgetary controls together with the relevant qualifications
• A high degree of motivation to be fully committed to working in a school environment.
• The ability to work under pressure to deadlines, on your own initiative, as well as part of a team.
• Proven experience and capability of using an accounting system, together with Microsoft excel.
• Experience of working in a school environment would be helpful, but not essential.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
To meet the requirements of the role the candidate would need an accounting qualification or proven equivalent experience. The school will be committed to continuous professional development.
