The start date will be September 2025 or earlier by agreement.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic French Language Assistant to work in partnership with French teachers to provide support to students in French lessons. This could be by taking small groups of students, working 1:1 or delivering in class sessions to deepen language learning. The candidate will also take responsibility for the year 7 lunchtime French club and share experiences with students of Francophone culture. Preferably the candidate will be a French mother-tongue speaker.
The pay band for the role is Scale 3 (point 5 to 6), which is £24,790 to £25,183.
The hours of work for the role will be 8 hours per week, which can be discussed at interview. This will be required term time (38 weeks in total).
The actual salary for the role is £4,471.81 to £4,542.70 (under 5 years' service) or £4,533.49 to £4,605.36 (over 5 years' service)
