We are seeking an enthusiastic and engaging Teacher of Product Design to be part of the thriving Design & Technology department at Helena Romanes School. The Design Technology department consists of committed subject specialists who have a wealth of expertise in different aspects of teaching and learning. The Product Design department is equipped with CAD/CAM resources to teach 2D and 3D technology, as well as dedicated practical workshops and a support technician. This post would be
suitable for either an ECT, an experienced colleague or you may be someone with experience in this field who can learn the required curriculum and become an Instructor of Timber.
The successful candidate will be highly motivated and committed to delivering high quality lessons to promote the best outcomes for students. Technology is taught to all students in KS3 and consists of Textiles, Timber and Food & Nutrition. We may be able to train and support you to develop a second subject. The Technology department is incredibly well-resourced with warm and supportive, experienced colleagues who work as a dedicated team supporting students to aspire to the highest standards.
