Shorefields is a special needs school for pupils aged 3 - 19 with complex learning difficulties (SLD, PMLD, ASD).
We are looking to appoint some relief teaching assistant's to join our supportive and committed staff team working to support the educational and welfare needs of our pupils.
Applicants need to have a NVQ level 3 or equivalent and should have relevant experience in a related field working with children with challenging behaviour or supporting the needs of people with disabilities. This is a physically demanding role and a certain level of fitness is required.
This is a term time only position, and will be relief hours only, to cover staff absences.
Hours worked will be paid on Scale 4 point 7.

Shorefields School caters for the needs of pupils with a range of severe learning difficulties. We currently have 160 pupils on roll aged between 3 and 19 years. The school is located in the centre of Clacton close to the beach and shopping area. Our catchment area extends to the whole of the Tendring peninsula
