Site Manager Advert

Starting salary: £26,409 - £27,711 (Band 5/Point 9 - Band 5/Point 12)

Working days: Monday-Friday

Term Time Hours: 7 hours a day (35 hours a week) 07.00 am to 10.45am and 14:15 to 17:30 (split shifts)

School holiday hours: The same as term time hours, with the possibility of some flexibility in when those hours are taken. (For example, not taking hours as a split shift/working longer hours one day and shorter hours another. All to be agreed in advance.)

Yearly holiday allowance:­ 25+ 8 days (Holiday days are to only be taken during the school holidays and booked in advance.)

Location: St Teresa's Catholic Primary, Pitsea, Basildon

This is a great opportunity for an individual with general all round maintenance skills, and a "can do" attitude. The ideal candidate will be reliable, enthusiastic and hardworking. We are looking for a hands on, responsible and safety conscious person who is self-motivated and resourceful.

The role requires the successful candidate to provide an onsite service which includes but it is not limited to:

· Key holder and deliver full range of caretaking duties, maintenance, cleaning, with responsibility of securing the site. You should have a keen eye for detail and demonstrate a practical knowledge of DIY skills.

· Undertake PPM duties (planned preventative maintenance)

· Undertake reactive maintenance work

· Delivery and recording of statutory testing, such as fire alarms, emergency lighting

· Enable to do manual handling, working at heights, mobility around larger sites

· Liaise with external contractors
