We are looking to appoint a positive, flexible, proactive and enthusiastic person to join our pastoral support team; someone with the understanding that relationships are key in helping children and young people to feel safe and nurtured.
The successful candidate will work in partnership with the other SEMH Coordinator, including close liaison with the SENCO, to support children and their families, to improve pupil wellbeing and confidence. This will involve working 1:1 with pupils and some intervention group work.
This post is for 32 hours per week over 5 days, with further opportunities for additional hours.
The successful candidate will have a good standard of education (Level 3/A level minimum) and experience of making a real difference to children's learning and wellbeing; promoting the school ethos for a safe, calm, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Our school is a town centre school with a strong community ethos - we are unable to offer car parking but there are excellent public transport links (bus/train).
Visits to our school are warmly welcomed.
