Role: Full-Time Level 2/3 Nursery Assistant
Hours of work: 37 hours per week, between the hours of 11am and 6.30pm (hours to be agreed at interview/offer stage)
51.1 weeks a year (the Nursery closes for a week between Christmas and New Year)
6.5 weeks paid holiday (including Bank Holidays)
Salary: Scale 2 Point 3 - £24,239 to Scale 2 Point 4 - £24,609
Chapel Hill Nursery has an exciting opportunity for a childcare practitioner to join our brand-new nursery. The offer is open to experienced practitioners with a Level 2 or 3 early years/childcare qualification . Working with children aged from 3 months to 4 years as part of the nursery team, you will provide safe, high-quality education and care for babies and young children. Duties will include acting as a keyworker for a small group of children, providing exceptional care, liaising closely with parents/carers and ensuring each child's needs are recognised and met, teaching children, offering an appropriate level of support and stimulation, helping to set up and tidy away at the end of the session, attending meetings and training courses as appropriate, and undertaking any other reasonable duties as directed by the room lead. The role will also include supporting at the school's Tea Time Club from 3pm which caters for children in the nursery as well as the school (up to and including Year 4).
