14 hours 30 minutes per week
Monday to Thursday, 11am until 2pm, Friday 11.30am until 2pm - term time only plus 5 INSET Training days, as required by the Academy
Salary - Scale 2 (CCT Essex Academies Pay Scale) - Salary Range - Point 3-4 (£24,027 - £24,404 Full Time Equivalent), plus Outer Fringe Allowance (£706). Salary to be pro-rata.
The starting salary will be dependent on experience.

We are a thriving, vibrant and successful school seeking to recruit a Catering Assistant to join our established catering team preparing approximately 250 meals a day.
Candidates must have experience of a similar environment as well as a passion for great food.
We believe that school food is part of our whole school ethos and the post holder can expect to work as part of a committed school team.
If successful you will be required to assist in all aspects of general kitchen duties however, serving the children will be a key part of the role. You should be able to demonstrate a positive attitude and the ability to work as part of a team and to enthuse our children to enjoy healthy, home cooked food.
Applicants will also be required to complete a Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering.
