Midday Assistant - working with children with additional needs.
Scale 2 point 3 to 4
10 hours per week - Fixed term for the duration that the children attend the school
Monday - Friday 11.45 p.m. -13.45 p.m. 38 weeks per year (term time).
Pro-rata salary £5417 to £5503
We are looking to appoint a reliable, friendly and motivated person for the post of Midday Assistant to work with children with additional needs.
The role will involve supervising children in the dining hall, on the playground and/or in our therapeutic rooms during lunchtimes. Duties include interacting with children to encourage good social skills and leading activities to encourage participation. Previous experience of working with children with additional needs would be an advantage.

Information about the School
In September 2018, Brightlingsea Infant School & Nursery and Brightlingsea Junior School became Brightlingsea Primary School and Nursery. We are a large Primary School, taking children from 2 to 11 years, with a three form entry and approximately 750 children on roll. This is an exciting time for our school and we are looking to further improve outcomes for our children and families.
