Ladybird Kindergarten is offering an outstanding, inspiring and dynamic EYFS practitioner/ teacher the opportunity to join our friendly team.
Starting date: April 2025
Job Title: Early Years Education Deputy Manager
Purpose of the job:
- To contribute to the provision of a safe, high-quality education and care for pre-school children
- To fulfil legal and statutory requirements
- To lead a team on a day-to-day basis
- To contribute and implement pre-school policies
- To deputise and take the appropriate level of responsibilities in the absence of the Manager
Person specification:
- Recognised Level 3 or above qualification in working with young children.
- Sound understanding of child development and children's individual needs.
- Ability to plan and implement a pre-school curriculum.
- Commitment and understanding of diversity and equality.
- Ability to work as an effective team member and own initiative.
- Satisfactory enhanced DBS check which confirms suitability to work with children.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is passionate about children.
- Can provide high-quality teaching, and be innovative and original in stimulating learning opportunities.
- Good communication skills.
- Able to develop strong relationships and promote positive parental involvement.
- Have high expectations of yourself and of the children in your care.
