With five classes in our EYFS department which includes three nursery classes and two Reception classes, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Reception teacher, who would like to share our vision and passion for early education and lead across EYFS.
As a key member of our school leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the EYFS curriculum, guiding our team of practitioners, and ensuring that every child receives the best possible start to their educational journey. As EYFS Lead, you will have the unique responsibility of line-managing our experienced nursery room leads, working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a high-quality Early Years education.

Essential Criteria:
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- An excellent understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and current educational developments.
Experience:
- Proven experience as an effective EYFS teacher, with a strong track record of promoting children's learning and development in Reception and/or Nursery.
- Experience of leading or managing a team within Early Years settings, with the ability to mentor, support, and inspire colleagues.
- Up-to-date knowledge of current government guidelines, best practices, and curriculum changes in Early Years education.

Desirable Criteria:
- Experience in leading Early Years settings within a school context.
- Knowledge of Catholic education and the ability to promote Catholic values and ethos.
- Experience in leading professional development or school-wide initiatives within Early Years education.
- Experience in the delivery of Read Write Inc. phonics.
