Southend YMCA community school is seeking to appoint a MLP & EHCP co-ordinator for 3 days a week, to work in our nurturing environment for our current year 10 to 13 students.

We are looking to appoint an MLP & EHCP co-ordinator to support the effective learning of students and support behaviour management. Our staff are responsible for supporting effective pastoral care to support students' social and emotional progress as well as their learning. They are also required to contribute and be involved in extracurricular activities and the wider life of the school community.

We are looking for the right person to join our team and that person must be passionate about our student's education and dedicated to teaching the hardest to reach young people in our community. The best person will have a commitment to trauma informed practice and understand the power of learning in helping young people who come to the Southend YMCA Community School, to 'come with a past, leave with a future'.
