Job Title: SEMH Teacher/PLC Manager

At Dilkes Academy, we are seeking a dynamic, creative, and compassionate SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) Teacher to work with pupils aged 5-11 who face complex learning difficulties. Our school is committed to fostering an environment where every child has the opportunity to thrive. We are focused on providing a broad, ambitious curriculum tailored to each pupil's individual Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs). These plans are developed collaboratively with parents, carers, and external professionals to ensure that every learner's needs are met.

We are looking for a teacher who is:

A £1,000 Catalyst welcome payment for successful candidates (teachers paid on Main Scale only) if you are appointed through a direct application to a Catalyst school (i.e. avoiding agency costs). This payment is allocated 6 months after you have been in post.

Information about the School

Our pupils are aged 3 – 11, ranging from Nursery to Year 6, and mainly live in the area surrounding the school.

Our bespoke curriculum is carefully planned to enable us to teach all the National Curriculum subjects in a creative and inspiring way.
